Time to bring in the new year, 2014, in style with some of the most famous and best things to do this New Year's Eve.
We have to start with the 23rd annual Champagne Ball on December 31 at the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower. This is one of the most famous New Year's Eve parties with over 1200 guests and includes 17 bars, four themed rooms, three dance floors and a massive Champagne Ball countdown. This is one of Portland's longest running New Year's Eve parties that benefit the children cancer society. The Portland Art Museum Mark building is having an Inspired Truth New Year's Eve party from 9 PM to 4:30 AM. Enjoy DJs, live electronica acts, light shows, installation art, New Age rituals and a variety of unique entertainments.
Enjoy the New Year's Eve Barfly Bus Tour starting at 7 PM. Not into just one party? Jump on board the party bus and make 8 to 10 stops throughout the night at predetermined bars, clubs, lounges and diets. Tickets are $30.

Looking for something to do with the kids? Angel eight New Year's at noon at the Portland children's ACM from 10 AM to 1 PM. Enjoy DJs, music, countdowns from several times sounds plus all the fun of the children's Museum. Tickets are just $10.
