#2. Don't neglect staging the outside of the house.
You spent so much time depersonalizing and staging the inside of the house, you wouldn't want to lose buyers at the front door. Take a look at the outside of your house from the road or driveway. Is it attractive? Would you want to know what's inside? Does the outside maintenance give you a good idea of how well the inside is kept?
This is the time to trim trees, shrubs, bushes, edge the lawn, use nitrogen to add a splash of green to the grass (if you can do that this time of year), set out attractive pots or planters that have a similar color and design and fill with color. Pressure wash the driveway, stairs, sidewalks or steps if needed. Make the outside absolutely shine. This not only will give your exterior photos a beautiful finish but those driving by will want to see inside the house as well. Don't neglect outside of the house when it comes to staging your home for sale.
