Downtown Portland area is experiencing an influx of homebuyers and transplants from higher-priced places like San Francisco and San Diego. The Aloha neighborhood is located within the Beaverton just west of downtown and south of the 26 highway. It surrounding Highway 8. The median sales price is about $317,000 which puts the price per square foot or $202. The median rent for this neighborhood is $1495. Over the last year there's been a 17% year-over-year rise in the median sales price but just a 1% rise in the rent.
