Cabela’s Coming to Tualatin Oregon

Cabela’s is one of the largest outdoor recreational merchandise megastores in the country. It offers a variety of hunting, fishing, camping and outdoor equipment with one of the most distinctive looking retail operations. And now, Cabela’s is coming to Tualatin Oregon just South of downtown Portland.Cabela’s Coming to Tualatin Oregon

According to, the store is set to open in 2014 in Tualatin’s Nyberg Woods retail district. It’s going to offer a 100,000 square-foot building and will be the second store in Oregon behind their Springfield location. In addition to this new Oregon store, Cabela’s plans on opening 13 more locations by late 2014 across the country in addition to their 100 existing stores. Currently, the closest to Portland is the one in Lacey Washington just outside of Olympia.

Tualatin is easily accessible just South of Portland via I5 and also at the corner intersection of Interstate 205. The Nyberg Woods district is located on the intersection of Interstate 5 and Nyberg Street which also is home to pet smart, Jamba juice, pet hospitals, lots of restaurants and shops, Fred Meyer’s, Kmart, Old Navy and Starbucks.
